The Threshing Floor

I was editing my website when the Holy Spirit Spoke to me and said, ‘Come away with me.’ I went to be with the Lord, and he spoke to me immediately.

After writing what he said in my notes, I titled it with the wrong date. The Lord used it and said, ‘Look up 1:21:22 in the bible app’ (this was today’s date, but I accidentally put the wrong year; it’s 2023). Different scriptures popped up with that number address, and the Lord said, ‘This is the one.’

David said to Araunah, “Give me the site of the threshing floor so I can build an altar to God. Charge me the market price; we’re going to put an end to this disaster.”

1 Chronicles 21:22

‘Revival is upon you. Look up the threshing floor.’

“The threshing floor in scripture is a place of separation and revelation. A place where the harvest was prepared by separating the grain from the useless straw for the purpose of exposing and collecting the most valuable part of the crop.

‘Now look up 1:21:23’ (today’s real date].

“O Master, my king,” said Araunah, “just take it; do whatever you want with it! Look, here’s an ox for the burnt offering and threshing paddles for the fuel and wheat for the meal offering—it’s all yours!”

1 Chronicles 21:23

‘What is a meal offering?’

“Isaiah 28:28 records a practical fact about grain that also affects the spiritual understanding of the meal offering: “Bread flour must be ground; therefore he does not thresh it forever, break it with his cartwheel, or crush it with his horsemen.” Grain must be ground or bruised before it can be used as bread or food. John 6:48, 50-51 helps us grasp the major spiritual application: I am the bread of life. . . . This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

Upon reading “Bruised,” the Lord brought this scripture to my remembrance.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5

‘Look up iniquities, what does it represent?’

Iniquities 1: gross injustice : WICKEDNESS. 2: a wicked act or thing : SIN

Merriam-Webster Dictionary

‘My exposure is coming. It is in my great mercy I expose so that I can remove it. Exposure brings repentance. Exposure wakes people up from their slumber. The Exposure and the cleansing must come, my love. When you lay it at the altar, I will burn it up. It pleases me to do so, to take away your sin. I have placed it on my son. But you must repent. You must turn away. This is the threshing floor.’

‘My body will go through a great revival, but not without my cleansing to get rid of that which is not important. I will do it, and what will be left is a beautiful sacrifice that is pleasing to me. All the impurities are wiped clean, and we can move forward in freedom and strength.’

The Lord reminded me of this verse.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”

Proverbs 13:12

‘The pain and suffering my people have endured have made their hearts sick, but I am going to burn it all away. Sin brings separation from me that causes the heart to grow sick. Many of my children do not realize all the hidden sins in their lives. They go on unaware of what is polluting their spirit man.’

‘I want them to show my light clearly. When Gideon had the jars of earthenware that held the torches, they were broken, so the light was not held within it. The light now lit the way before them. You hold my light within your earthen vessel. If you are muddied or polluted, your way before you is unclear; it’s hard to see. I must make it clear. Brokenness brings exposure. Exposure brings repentance and cleansing so you can be my bright, shining lights. Then, you will plunder the enemy camp. Then you will ride in complete victory before me.’

‘It is upon my body. They may ask, ‘What Is happening to me?’ so I want them to know. I want them to be aware this is my cleansing. Yield to my spirit. Let go of all pride. Cling to me, and I will walk you through the fire.’

In chapter twenty-one of the first book of Chronicles, we see David sinning against God. What is the sin? Satan entices David to put hope in the number of his people when going to battle instead of putting his trust and hope in God as he so often did before. Read the whole story in 1 Chronicles 21

‘For too long, my body has relied on the strength of their own hand. Their guilt is not trusting in me. I have laid this guilt upon my Son. But now it is time to expose it. It is time to thresh it out of my children. Then, they will turn to me and know it is only in me they are able to live, move, and breathe. It is in my power alone that will set the captives free. When they trust in me, they will stop relying on the world and its ways and start turning towards me, seeking me with all their mind, heart, and strength.’

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.”

Jeremiah 29:13-14
