Winds Of Change

Winds of change. My winds bring change. The natural is a picture of what I do in the spirit. The winds of change are ushering in the spring rains and summer months. The storms rolling in bring the necessary rain to water the seeds of truth. As the storms blow in and rains fall, weeds of the enemy and my truth will sprout up. Attend to the garden of your heart. Look intently for the weeds that were spoken and were not cast out.

These weeds of the enemy sound like voices of doubt, condemnation, and unworthiness. What did he sow in you that is not of my word? Examine the weed, uproot it, and replace it with my truth. Attend to my truth, watering it by spending time in my presence. Allow me to reassure you of my truth, watering it over and over again under the grace of my son. It will surely grow. As I speak this truth into your heart, its roots will widen, deepen, and grow into a tree of life. The enemy may try to lay the ax to the tree; he may try to do what he may to uproot my truth, but in your weakness, I am strong. Keep coming back to me, humbling yourself before me, and I will speak my truth to you. Cast out the great deceiver; do not let him speak; cast him out of the garden of your heart. Let me attend with you in the garden through the storms and all of life’s ups and downs. Nutrients will be added to your soil and strength to your roots.

In the Garden of Eden, I walked and talked with Adam and Eve, so I walk and talk with you. I have moved the garden to your heart if you can receive it. Like the story of Genesis, the enemy came in to sow seeds of doubt about my words to them. In the same way, he tries to come in and steal my words I speak to you. Don’t let him steal my words but cast his doubts out with my truth. Just as he wanted them to eat from the tree of good and evil, he longs to reason with you, glorifying knowledge above my word, to plant seeds of doubt. Lifting itself up in pride, knowledge often replaces my seat in people’s hearts, and they make knowledge their God.

But I have called my children to trust. I give my children knowledge over time because I want them to learn to rely on me and trust in me. It is my desire for you to know wisdom over knowledge. Sometimes wisdom comes from experience so do not be dismayed if the enemy has sown seeds of doubt because I am the great restorer. And I will tear down and build up. You will be built straight in me. The enemy longs to take over this garden, but I know the end from the beginning and what wisdom will be gained through mistakes and mess-ups as you turn your heart back towards me.

For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money,
and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it.

Ecclesiastes 7:12

Some Long-standing weeds have glorious root systems. Words that have been glorified and lifted up above my word. Lies that are not noticeable because they have been there a long time or maybe centered around trauma and seem like truth but are a total lie of the enemy. I will tear down and build up as you submit to this process so we will see a beautiful garden. Deweeding is a continual process, but my words in you will soon grow more than any weeds, and you will quickly recognize the lies before they get started, making the process faster over time.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

2 Corinthians 10:4-5
